i am helping my friend with his first pump and being that he is a farmer and a john deere fan u can guess the color scheme of this pump if anbody has any pictures of pumps that have been restored like thsi please post them so i can give him some ideas.

...not being a huge fan of fantasy paint schemes (to say the least) I would guess the most common John Deere paint scheme would be green pump with yellow trim and base...on a clockface like an Erie, your cast iron parts would be yellow, with green skins...seems like I've seen something like that before...and i would think the colors would be easy enough to match if you couldn't order John Deere spec colors by name...

...there are diecast models of gas pumps painted in a John Deere paint scheme...check out ebay auctions 270098019182, 290093954126, 290093949881, 130089303251...not knowing what kind of pump your friend has, there are visibles and computer pump models...
