The only place that STUFF could come from was GLENN THOMPSON's.
ERIE never made a 50 twin cash recorder display pump, Glenn did.
WAYNE never made the 866 twin display [65-S w/ clockfaces], Glenn did.
Glenn also repo'd the WAYNE 800's and [I was told] also the DAYTON 900's.
STILL A GREAT SCORE.

Geez, A guy dies and his collection is bought out and 'we' call it a score???
Rest in peace Glenn Thompson.
Ron
I'm editing this due to a later post and have no intention of bringing it back up to the top.
Chris, I would call this a "purchase".
Webster defines a "score" as
"8 : success in obtaining something (as money or drugs) especially through illegal or irregular means."

Ron
What would you call it Ron? I'd say it would have been a huge "score" for any dealer to aquire that collection.
Glenn's family obviously didn't want to keep his collection so I don't see what the problem is. Before long most of the pumps will be in collectors hands and they will get many years of enjoyment out of them.
And yes, rest in peace Glenn.
Just in case anyone is wondering, Cheese and Glenn were Best Friends, they did a lot together and had a Ton of respect for each other.
you said it chris.
We are all just caretakers of this stuff. I am sure Glenn is smiling in Heaven knowing his friend the Cheeseman is taking care of his collection and that many collectors will enjoy it for years to come. I am sure he is cheering for Cheese as well. Yes, rest in peace Glen and thanks for saving this old junk from scrap pile.

I didn't know Mr. Thompson and I only Big Cheese from this site. But, if Big Cheese were to pass on today, I think it would take the undertaker 3 days to wipe the smile of Big Cheese's face. Congrats on your large addition to your collection.
Alex funny you should mention the smile..
I did ask a friend of mine who is an undertaker if they could put a smile on someone once they have passed.. His answer was Yes.. Thats what I want when I go.
really.....
