I recently picked up this socket set at an estate auction. The label reads "Standard Oil Station Super Socket Wrench Set" and "For Oil Draining Service."

I thought it was a neat piece, and it is complete and has a great patina. I also really like the inscription inside, which reads "Every oil and gas filling station should use the Splitdorf Bethlehem Super Socket Wrench Set Type 'H.' It will meet all requirements, speed up sales and make a lasting impression on the customer for careful service."

Did any other service station chain have a special crankcase draining socket set for their stations? If anyone has one, please post a picture for us to enjoy.

Thanks,
Wes

I found a seller on e-bay, selling a BUNCH of tools, marked CHEVRON.... He wanted to auction each tool though. I asked that he contact me, after his auctions though. I never got a reply. He must have seen American pickers. LOL...
