Here's a nice (Standard of Indiana or Mobil?) sign pole with the acorn finial.

I got a new camera somewhat recently, but it's been raining so much that I've only gotten to go out and shoot one station so far. I'm liking the results so far though.

Here is Bruce's Texaco station here in Decatur. You may remember it from previous FATW posts. I drove by a couple weeks ago, and saw that Bruce is working on replacing the concrete lot and island. Here's the progress so far:

Old Hometown Stations

The grain bin station is really making me want to through out an offer! But at the top of the page it says I cant! Dang it! LOL

Yea,This was an old Fina Station.Everyone always called it "The Round Station".Been shut down at least 25 years.The top frame of the pole sign is twisted and damaged and probably not be worth the salvage.A lot of memories go with these old stations.
