Here is something you can do for these BEASTS.
All the top guts were gone. The wheel shaft holes were cut
to 5/16 same as Veeder Root. Two Veeder Root wheel shafts
(minus gear) were used for wheel shafts. The end of the shaft was secured w/ a screw and is also adjustable.
The springs are hooked on the wheels and keep tension on the wheels.
The wheels have a pawl inside that cathes the notch in the shaft, and the springs keep them in place.
6- #6 Flat Veeder Root drive wheels were used
The shafts holding the springs were added and are Veeder Root pinion shafts.

If you look to the left you will see another monster.

Now that's a Real Gluten for punishment of a Sick Mind! Very few would even attempt that.
Have you ever worked on a computer for a Bennett 134/154 series? I have one buried some where here!
