I finished this pump tonight for John aka Oldracer. It took a lot longer than I had planned but I think it came out nice.

I used panel bond and epoxied patches into the upper skins...no welding the metal was too thin.

I restored this one around 10 years ago for Jim aka Leonardgas

I had the sheetmetal media stripped and saved it all but the lower skins. I bought a bead rolling machine and made the lower skins from flat metal.

Hi Diesel, Jims pump sat at my place for almost 2 and a half years. I took the lower skins to every sheetmetal, and welding shop in my area and NOBODY owned a bead roller. I found it totally by accident at Harbor Freight. I paid around 180.00 for it nearly 10 years ago and I have only used it twice since then. My neighbor owns a large welding shop in my area and he helped with the metal break after we rolled the beads. I think at that time I charged around 200.00 to make those skins but the reason it sat so long is nobody would sell just the lowers. Two places were selling all of the skins for 900 to 1000.00 for the set. They really turned out very well. Where there is a will, there will always be a way!!
