Glad you found one Matt. Thats such a good looking pump
Glad it went to a good home!
Great looking pump Matt...... are you going to do it to Clack?
Thanks guys. No, no clock. I wanted a computer, that is why I was looking for a 53.
Actually I meant H. Earl Clack since you had the HI-POWER lenses on it.
That is one pump that will look great no matter what brand you go with.
Really nice find.
Very nice Matt. Is this the one you were talking about when you listed your truck?
Looks as though you only have an inch or so before it's on the roof.
Wow! That is really nice. Congrats!
Not sure what I am going to do it in. I put the Hi-Power on because it went with the orange. I think it may have been Gulf originally. The base has some blue paint on it.
I think it looks almost perfect just like that, just need to get some matching patina on that globe housing, nice pump!
(DROOLING)....What a great pump
Wow!! I am knew to the hobby and i have no idea what I'm looking at. But that thing is amazing looking!!! The art deco corner trim and the globe frame!! WOW!! So so cool!! Where can I get one?
What a great pump. Does look great just as it is . If you restore please post more pictures. Just loven the art deco on the pump.
That pump is cool, love the lines it has. Defiantly a nice addition to your collection.
Matt- your killing me. It's really a great pump. Congratulations. Looks to be a great Gulf survivor. Its your pump but maybe wait awhile before doing anything with it. Personally I would pay a lot more for an original Gulf pump of that magnitude than a "restored to anything" one.
You did great. I would sell some thing near and dear to me to get one too...
Really a cool pump!i likes it!
Matt that is one sweet pump there
WOW!! Super cool pump. I don't ever recall seeing any pics of these pumps back when they were in use. Does anybody have any pics? I would love to see the station they were used at. Makes me wonder if the station would have been as art deco as the pump. Congrats on the pump Matt!
Nice....Reminds me of the Empire State Bldg.
Matt.......I remember I kidded you when you first put the ad under "wanted" for this pump. I would have never thought that all you have to do is ask, and you shall receive!! Really a GREAT looking original. The corner pieces look new. Just cleaned? no one is repro'ing them are they? Best wishes, Ed.
It is missing the top half of the corner peices, do you have them Matt? Or are you looking?
TRULY A GORGEOUS PUMP THERE, MATT! ME JEALOUS!
Big cheese is repoping the corner trim last I knew
WOW - great looking pump - just how rare and valuable are these Eries? How many are around? 50 vs 53? Enjoy that awesome pump!
NOW THAT'S WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!
NICE PUMP MATT
