Yes, how can you tell?

The re-issue ones don't have "approved" across the top. re-issue has "Motor Oil" across the top & "Gasoline" across bottom. This came out of a long time collection. The fine art of collecting by Dan Mathews has some good examples of the original vs re-issue.
