I have been working on this for a while. The only thing left to do is have all the glass cut and install it. It just has card board shelves right now.

Gives me some inspiration as to how I want mine to look! It'll be different but it will be hard to top the display you have created there! Congratulations on a job well done!

I'm generally a fan of survivor pumps,,,but WOW great job, and historically accurate.

Great job Matt, great pump!!

I think it's obvious Matt is as much a fan of original pumps as anybody could be, so I think it's safe to trust his judgement.

The black around the face looks awaesome, as does the whole pump.

All I can say is wow!

Thanks guys. I do like unrestored pumps but this one was not nice enough to leave alone. Some one had sandblasted and primed the upper part except one face bezel before I got it. I tried to make it as accurate as possible. I found evidence that it had a black stripe surrounding the face bezel. I decided not to put it on. Some did not have it. Here is a picture of the unblasted bezel with some of the repaint chipped off.

Wow Matt. I do not get jealous of other peoples stuff very often because it does no good. But sometimes there is absolutely no choice in the matter. Its great!

Looks good. Glad to know I sent the Firestone truck to a better home. : )

I didn't think you could stuff another one in there! And an extra wide one at that. grin

Very nice.

Dave, I did not remember who I bought the truck from. Glad I got it from an oldgasser. It goes well with my Buddy L Shell tanker. Here is the Firestone with an original Firestone store catalog.

Here are some in progress pictures. There are a lot of parts and screws. There are 88 screws just on the out side of the case.

Matt, it's incredible. Your research prior to jumping into a project is outstanding. Patience is not in my vocabulary.
