I finally got my first pump yesterday and was really happy to get it. Also got these cans from Dan which look great in my collection. Finally I picked up this spinner clock from a great friend. I had wanted it for 5 months and we were able to work something out.

Dave a slow week I take it. You know I love neon but the colour on that gulf is fantastic. Nice score.
Can on the right is white, as opposed to the standard silver. I have never seen this before.

Ethyl is this week's globe-it brings together the three known versions of this Mississippi company. Trust me, it did not look this good yesterday.

Oil sign from SAVINGS, a MS company. Paint on galvanized.

I'm guessing the nozzle is from 1976.

Also catching up on a few buys from the past number of weeks. Happy to add these to the collection....

A NOS 1952 BF Goodrich sign, fresh out of the original box. Great color and shine:

A really nice Gulf sign that looks pretty close to NOS:

Super clean Penn Union tin sign:

An old tin tacker Overland sign that I had not seen before:

And this neat Automobile Blue Book hotel sign. Condition is a little rough, but it cleaned up quite a bit and really has great gloss & color for being from late 20's or early 30's:
Couple More Oilzum quarts, the Pennsylvania is a Very Rare version of the can.

5 quart Kunz.

Rob,
B.F. Goodrich is total killer cool

Lately I've been coming across calendars that were handed out by gas stations. I just really dig the graphics. Could not believe it when I got the Johnson from my brother-in-law as a X-mas gift. It still has the complete calendar deck that was never used.

More outboard stuff, All are full and unused. Antique Outboards have been my addiction since I was 10yrs old.
Calendars are cool. One in the middle has it all! Girl, Car, Plane
I have to thank 5Quart Don for working out a nice deal on all of this. Great add ons to the collection!
Sure wish guys hadn't opened those 5 quarts like that!!

Steve, because they were opened like that is why they survived. Very common for oil cans to have a 1/4" hole on one side and a missing top. They were repurposed as bolt bins. The 1/4" hole was placed there so they could be slipped onto a nail head and hang on a shop wall.

Wow I would love to own one of those early Oilzum can's I'm still searching! Any leads on one?

Credit for that goes to the excellent gentleman that I was lucky enough to meet who has provided great care for some beautiful pieces for many decades now!
I'm used to finding them like this one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevron-Credit-C...=item5661190511
