Didnt get to go to Iowa this year but did get these two signs at the auction. Been looking for the mobilgas special for awhile. Didnt want to buy both but hey it worked out in the end and i got a good deal. Dan
Here are a couple of the better pumps I bought at Iowa Gas, I ended up buying 9 pumps at the show. The Erie clockface was missing one of the super rare molded window glass and a face plate. Would you believe I found the glass at the show, it was laying on a table at the far end of the parking lot, I bought it and ran back and bought the pump along with the W60. Tom.
Here's my Iowa Gas and A swap meet on the way buys.... I guess I was in a PPP mood this year with lots of smalls. Funny thing is easier to haul but spent the same as when I buy the Big Ones. LOL
A few more The 66 Battery was the first one I've ever seen that style, and I couldn't pass up the NOS Packer Interstate Battery SB champs sign at the Swap meet!
Went on a family camping trip to Spring river near Hardy, Arkansas and met up with this hillbilly named Joey the tomater and got all this from him and he even gave me money to haul it home! LOL photobucket.com/user/rhcherry/media/Mobile%20Uploads/image-1.jpg.html][/URL]
Great stuff everyone! Iowa was amazing, here are my buys from Iowa. My brother actually bought the Sky Chief PP…I think I finally got him started on petro, YEA!
Great Buys and Finds so far! Quart buyers had a winning field day! Got the Mason and Co-Op in Iowa and Firestone from the guy who sold a toasted one on ebay and held this one back. Got some smalls and rockers I'll post later.
Picked up some reference materials Teh Binder is a actual coorporate issued explanation on everything and anything on having to do with the branding of the company as SUN Company. And the Book is the first 100 year history of Sun Oil Co.
Last picture for now. Had a great time at IowaGas. Special thanks to Kevin Frith, Lonnie and Aaron Hop, Scott Benjamin and Butch Greer all true gentlemen and a huge asset to this great hobby.
I picked up 4 frames and some face plates. 1 is a twin/double pump. I will be going back and buying a pair of doors, a top, some misc parts, 23 computers and 2 computers that went on the back of trucks that delivered gas. One has a printer. The guy went to a bulk plant years ago and picked it all up. Im getting it all for a steal.

Doug, I think it was for the vulcanizing and reconditioning of used/damaged tires. Pretty neat how it worked with steam. I'll post some pictures of inside the book later this week.
Well here are my IG buys in the first picture. Thank you Maurice and a couple of other people. The other pictures are of stuff I've accumulated over the last several months but have not posted. Mitch
