No shop yet ,but hopefully soon .The poles are up, used a well drilling derrick truck yesterday to set them both friday . 2 yards of concrete per each pole .
That's one way to motivate you on getting the shop built. Looks great! I love the two tone pole on the H/C sign.
Looking good Travis. Where exactly is the shop setting in relation to the signs/pumps? Don't see your retaining wall you were talkin about yet....GB
your off too a good start, looks awesome...
Is that a horse before the wagon thing? LOL
Looks sweet already!!
Keep up the good work Travis. I'm sure you can't wait to see the shop built.
is that the same sign that's on your avatar?...
Thanks guys . It's all of you that help drive me to get off my rear and do a lot of this stuff , moving all this was a real chore this summer . I finished digging the dino island and HC sign trench Monday , installed and tied rebar , then ran the conduit and wires , then poured mid week. I was on vacation and figured better to do now than in the dead of winter. The shop Gary will be right in the middle of the two poles , the wall will be on the HC sign side . Our homes geo thermal loops run the length behind our home , and that's why I didn't want to cut down the slope much , pic is deceiving , we shot grade and there is almost 5' of fall on the building spot I plan just one longer overhead door centered in the end . Randy my avatar sign is another HC I have . The one up on the pole is the one me and my kids sectioned and repaired the lower 1ft on last year, the neon will go dead center of the end of the shop. It will have the eye brow this time to protect it from the hail. The eyebrow was DB's idea and suggestion , and it will have one this round , nothing else as a memory of him , telling me SEE I TOLD YOU to protect it from the storm ! ...Thank you all for the nice compliments .
That looks like a great start Travis! I'm looking forward to seeing the building and the neon up!
Looks amazing Travis! I like that!

Looking good Travis. And by the way, Its nice of you to help my buddy Andy!!
Looks good. Love that HC sign. Dave
Floor was completed yesterday ,2 aprons left for this weekend . I found a really old nice 6'x 8 ' wooden sash Payne window that I am having framed in next to the visible pump . Wanting a window to display smalls and oil cans in this time , I will keep the updates coming. Winter is going to get me I believe .
Travis,
what is the sq. ft. of the new building?
are you sure its going too be big enough?..
That is going to be a sweet place to hang out for you and your buddies! I love how it is set back there like that!
Travis,

. I don't think it will be Randy, lol . Guy sure fills one up in a hurry . Its only a 30x40 , 1200 sq ft , I have it built so I can add on length wise possibly later in life if needed. It's amazing how much concrete has went up , I plan on building lean to' s off all three sides to store my trucks and equipment , but main focus it keep the Sinclair station theme. Thanks guys.
That looks really cool. I cant wait to see it finished!
He didnt build it big enough! We never do! You are killn me Travis, you got the decor up before the building, a true love of the hobby!!!! Cant wait to see it all put together, I know your excited!
Looks great! I need a big building like that!
Nice job Travis! Just out of curiosity, do most guys put a ground wire on these sign poles just in case lighting hits them? And believe me, I've seen lightening hit one before at a place where I use to go picking. Just a thought, you've got plenty of time for that. Good luck.
