That shell sign is sweet, where is lowright?? I know what he bought, I was standing next to him.

I really like some of the early shell signs, but that one is just awesome!!!

Posted Friday nite searching for a Diamond oil sign and within 30 minutes,a responce from a fellow OldGasser,and within 48 hrs had it cleaned up and ready to hang!This site is awesome

Shape of Pectan makes me think it's from Late forties into 50's



Could be wrong though. Check out the pectan on this 1949 Credit card.

I didn't walk away with much...but was good to be out there trying.

I bought a Coltex ethyl and 76 royal porc pump plate.

I also bought this off ebay
Very clean 2 sided porcelain with flange on bottom

A new pump (American 900) added to the collection thanks to Tom Buckles. When I started collecting in 1995 I thought a couple would do but this is model #61. It has gotten out of hand!

My only purchase was from Dan McGuffey ( mcguffeyd1 ) in the Old Gas auction for DB. The Soap was something DB wanted before he passed and the can was a special addition from Dan as it was a fantasy piece from DB.....They both will remind me everyday of a special, Grumpy and educational friend that we lost too soon!!!!

got a couple pump plates. and late in the week picked up some local items - a Phillips 66 sign in original frame along with a Shell lubester with original cast lid & 2 rougher quart cans

A fellow Oldgas.com member tipped me off about the Flecto can on eBay. I love the old auto paint cans with graphics of cars being painted with a brush. It had a "Buy it Now!" and I did.

cool cans , auto polish and the earlier no frost cans are really cool

Great looking cans Jim. Do you have a photo of all your cans together? I have seen a lot of them you purchased through the years and I bet that would make a great picture.
