Just wanted to say thanks to Oldgas and to Brain Burke for selling me a original 4' ring for my Sinclair Aircraft Sign and to others who checked to see if they had one! I hung it in my new shop yesterday. Thanks again!
Now that i see the pic, may need to raise the left side of the HC up a bit..LOL
those look great side by side
No problem. It was great seeing such an awesome collection.
can only imagine the envy that most sinclair collectors have when looking at that picture... very nice!
Owen , give me a second or two. I had to wipe the drool ! Those look fantastic ! Aircraft looks awesome next to the HC . Thanks for posting . Travis.
Those arnt even his best two signs.
Nice, they compliment each other.
Looks great. I need to get me an aircraft some day but probably won't be able to afford it.
They look sweet hanging together!

LOL….No Brain, just thought you may like to see it…..
Trying to put them in progression, i guess the Aircraft and HC are from about the same time period, right? Wes?
They are cool to see Owen. Here is my idea. Striped 48", triangle dino, and then the aircraft. Take the 48" HC and hang it below the triangle Dino. Have the chains drop lower from the ceiling than the bottom of the triangle. It will be the Triangle of Sinclair.
That is so cool! What a line-up!
Nice group Owen. I really like the aircraft sign.

Sure does but he needed to leave room for a triple check sign.
Very nice display. A little info as per the book;
The bar logo Sinclair gasoline sign is probably from 1920-1926. There is also a Sinclair Oils, probably same time frame. The Aircraft was in at least three versions, the open cockpit being the earliest known, then the green version, 1926-1928, followed by the red version, 1928-1931. The Sinclair HC was about 1927-1958. The trapazoidal shaped sign was from around 1958 to present. Then the odd stuff, the bar logo HC was 1926-1927. Anyone have an extra laying around? The Tripple check was around 1956-1958. Then there was the Rooster Signs, Productoes Gasolina from south of the border. Several are on my list and will be for a long time.
Thanks guys! Good info Wes….
The Aviation is one of my favorite signs. Great logo.
