Check these 2 items out. I'm a little confused at the outcome. I don't know about you guys but I'd take the Art Deco model 38 any day over a much more common 97 even if the model 38 was in the rough. Were people asleep on this one? Uninformed or have these Deco models come down in price and desireability? here's the 97 item # 170175332524
and the 38 item # 250194461973

right with you mike.....i dont collect or own an air meter but i would rather own rare and rough (but displayable).....than mint and common and over priced. i like it when someone tells me i have a sign they have never seen before. different types of collectors give the hobby its depth

The art deco 38 didn't meet the reserve. No telling what the seller wanted for it!

Oh, I know. I just figured it would have gotten a lot more bids than the other one.
