Does anyone have an issue with this seam? It almost looks done at home?

Looks like a new top and bottom. It was probably a flat put back together. I'd email the seller if I was interested in the can. The condition of the can is what is most important to me.

Steve. That can is fine nothing weird about it at all. This is correct and that can looks NOS that someone drained from the bottom. The green stuff is like a coating from the litho and the lids are correct and old.

Can is in good shape for te age. No red flags here

I Agree w/ everything Butch said.
IF your really interested, ask how tall the can is. IF the remains of lids were cut off, can will be 1/4" shorter.

Thanks Dick, I'll ask them and see.

What's your opinion on the seam?
