Now this to me looks like a person who has no idea that these are not real. Now I say that hoping that I am correct. It is my understanding that the Pennzoil split bell logo did not even exist until the late 50's. '57-'59, somewhere in there. Here is a picture of a sign from '59 with the split bell. I also have oil can books that support this late 50's date.
So were bottles still being used at all by the late 50's?
As for the paper lables, I was hoping someone else could/would comment on that. Did anyone ever use paper labels on bottles or is that in itself a dead give away.

Your thoughts?

It's funny these showed up cuz I was just wondering to myself the other day, why have I never seen a Pennzoil bottle on ebay? I was even wondering if Pennzoil ever used bottles.

I would think original bottles and carrier that had the labels/ decals put on recently
