I've noticed that the 1960s Pennzoil Sound Your Z signs appear with hanger holes in two places. I've attached pictures of both. Is it indicative of a fake to see the hanger holes on the outer edge of the sign or is this simply a production variation?

Aren't those different sizes? The top looks like the 31" version and the bottom looks like the 16" version. Joe

They very well could be but I have no measurements from the pictures. Is it normal to see the hanger holes on the outer edges of the 16" version?
