...this thing's as fake as the day is long...it's so obviously a poorly-done fantasy face on an old body - kinda like Mickey Rourke, I suppose...for some reason people are bidding on it, even with the bizarre logo...

...here we go again - same fake clock with pitifully poor graphics, except this one's square...

...watch out for this guy - his eBay name is 'amiller120107', and he's out of Shepherdsville, KY...he's got a LOT of dubious advertising clocks on eBay...here's photos of the last one he ran, and the current one...note the ridiculous Gulf logo...BTW, he got $456.99 for the last one from some poor schmuck...
Maybe thats why he only shows the clock face and his is hidden.
John
...well, looking at his feedback, apparently he's sold a repro Ande Rooney Socony Aircraft sign for $100, and a Midwest (Dairy, I think) clock with a Chevrolet sticker on it for $192, $225 for a fake Red-Head Gasoline clock...PLEASE take a minute to look at his completed auctions on eBay, look at his handiwork...don't get 'took'...get the word out on this guy...while he doesn't make ANY commentary on dates or authenticity, he's clearly using old backs and other parts to make his stuff appear old...would an honest person use a statement like "This clock is in great conditon. Runs and lights up" to describe something brand-new?...
...looks like a different seller - but the same crappy fantasy/repro clock...doesn't anyone know who is taking old clocks and fitting them with these tacky faces?...this guy, "rail502", is out of Louisville, KY - all of 20 miles from the previous seller's location...hmmm...
