I noticed wallyblackburn mentioning paint reacting to a black light when he asked about the Texaco doorstop. Are you saying some repos react to blacklight while originals don't?
No, Wally just breaks out in a Disco dance routine and starts saying "Grooooovy" which helps ease the pain of buying a repop that he was told was original.
Many paints today contain phosphors that will glow under a black light, while most older paints do not contain phosphors. You can also use it to detect repairs that are hidden from the naked eye.
