Hey guys, can anyone tell me if this sign on Ebay is a NEW sign or like he says, NOS meaning old, any help would be appreciated, thanks,

Wes' Can't say this sign is a fake but I'd sure stay away from it. This sign and some oilzum signs were reproduced in limited quantities somewhere in the northeast some years back. He was adverting them in some auto publications like hemmings etc. Don't know who he was but he wasn't hiding the fact they were new signs. maybe some collector from that area can help;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;Ron

It's just that the small holes don't look like an original thing to me???? I would have also thought there should be a date somewhere ??

Wes, it is NOS...with the emphasis on "NEW". Awful nice shape with no aging at all for a tin sign. No sign company mentioned either. AND the seller sells LOTS of repo stuff as originals. I'd stay away.

Wes..this treasureray (Ray Schope) guy has been featured here on Old Gas many times....not to long ago he was selling repo liscence plate toppers...he sells all repos from a-z including many advertising clocks... be very careful
