First, I have asked an never received a good answer to what a Sunray D- X pump looked like . I have tried to research Sun oil and it's affialiates for years getting all kinds of conflicting answers .

About 30 years ago, Mitch Stinzler (Webers in Ft Worth) was selling these for $35.00 and when he sold out, he didn't get more. This looks like one of his with the aluminum grommets. Same size even. I think I have one of his old catalogs around somewhere. If I can find it, I'll see about scanning some pix of the sign.

Morgan, you're correct . Mitch's signs did indeed have aluminum grommets . I was friends of his and we were always trading things back an forth then ............ Ed Shaver
