Maybe it's just me, but does the "AM-68" look as if it were scratched into the sign instead of stenciled, to anyone else?...

That's one thing but the other is I do not remember seeing a blue and white exide sign from 1968....IMO the blue and white was used pre 1937. There are many other questionable issues with this sign IMO.

I have to agree...sign looks suspicious for reasons pointed out. However the blue in the close-up pic is brighter due to the camera flash....looks alot darker in the other shots.

littleshanno is one of those sellers you would want to stay away from. They have sold many questionable signs in the past.

I agree with you Scott.

Littleshanno has a lot of nice signs and there are always repops discretely mixed in with the good stuff. In the last 6 months they have sold 788 items and in the past 12 months 1776 items.

One can only conclude that when you are buying and selling that many items you have the knowledge base, expertise and skill set to know what is original and what is reproduction.
