For about the last month or more ebay has been inundated with these signs.
Someday, hopefully, and God willing, I'll be one of the wise old birds around here telling all the newbs that these are fantasty pieces made around 2014 and they are worthless. And they'll be telling me, now way old man, I got it from my great uncles second cousins brother who owned a Sunoco station back in the 20 teens.

These are all listings for the same sign. All from different sellers and from all over the country. And this only a small amount of the total actually listed.
Two months ago I never saw this sign. I just dont understand where they are all coming from.

Steve that looks to be a Hobby Lobby sign it won't last more then a couple years. The graphics on Hobby Lobby signs are paper glued onto a embossed steel blank and then they varnish over the paper. Since the graphics are on paper if placed in direct sunlight they fade in a matter of days. Really poor quality signs.

Wow that was dumb. Dave you are exactly correct. I see all that HL junk on ebay all the time and I didn't put 2 and 2 together. I just looked at there site, and you can buy it for 12 bucks.
Glad to know they wont be around for long.

that's the real problem, and one that eBay could easily fix...these keep clogging up the searches, because they are listed with the car parts and the oil company names are listed in the 'item details' mad

Licensed sign, made in China by the US company Open Road Brands and sold to stores like Hobby Lobby.
