what is a fair value of the clock? there is a brake at the bottom you can see where it was fixed and there is a small crack in the cover by the 10 hour. and there is no front glass. it does light up and the clock works

Always looking for grizzly gasoline stuff, or any Montana gas and oil stuff.

These Dualites lose a lot of value because of all the cracks. On eBay maybe $225 max if that. At an auction house maybe up to $250. With this stuff it really is more about timing and who sees it. Good luck.

Always looking for back-lit advertising clocks, prefer Telechron, American Time & Electric Time. Also Pam in good condition.

No recent sales on ebay or worthpoint. Lots of reproductions of that clock.

Reproduce a Dualite clock? Really? Once the front glass cover and trim ring are removed, you are down to ONE piece of blow-molded plastic. Somebody post a link to a fake version so I can see what else to avoid.

thanks in advance
Paul

Cool clock Scott, I'm sure another similiar clock sale will pop up eventually.

Paul, the reproductions are pretty obviously new, nothing to be worried about faking people out. Ebay 121600037264

Man, I followed the link, that thing was disgusting. The first couple words of the seller's description was a "vintage, battery operated".....dude, those words never go together. Old school Dualite clocks are cool. I don't care if they advertise Earl's Hardware, from Augusta Kansas, if its in good shape with zero cracks, I am interested. I sold a Pepsi Dualite on ebay last year, that was pretty much NOS. I kinda regret it now, but it was time for a new home, and the buyer was happy, so what more could you ask for.

I agree with you, those original clocks are very cool, don't care if there plastic (other than the cracks I suppose!)
