Hello all! I am a new member here and just wanted to say "Hello". I am new into the hobby of Gas Pump restoration but, at age 54, I'm "hooked". I have a nice GasBoy 390 pump that I am restoring and I picked up (2) nice Gilbarco FMP2A1 clock face pumps also. One of the pumps is in such good condition that I'm not even going to repaint it...just clean it up and save the orignal aged patina. The pump was covered in soot and I think that actually protected the original paint all of these years. I realize these pumps are "entry level" farm pumps, but I am having a ball and it's a great way to learn before I take on some bigger projects. I just ordered Jack Sim's book "Illustrated Guide to Gas Pumps (2nd edition). I enjoy all of the great info on this website.
Bennett 766, Wayne 505, Gilbarco 1006, A.O. Smith L-3 "Smithway", and a multitude of Gasboy, Gilbarco, Tokheim, Bennett consumer pumps.
