T-Bone, I don't know much about Waverly, other than it's a really old company. Below is Waverly Oil Works flange sign I bought about 12 years ago. It's the only sign I've seen that mentions that it's oil is for both, gasoline and electric cars. [This message has been edited by MarkMcK (edited 01-25-2005).]

Hey Frank, I've never seen any Waverly stuff this side of Colorado. I've been to several shows on the East Coast, and that's where I've run into cans and signs. How do you suppose that "Great" sign made it to Idaho? ------------------ Don "oltoydoc" Sherwood Vintage Gas

Thanks Doc, for reposting the pic for me. Not sure why some can see it and others can't. I'm using photobuckets web site for the post. Could be there server was down for a while.

T-bone, that's a beautiful sign that you've landed! Waverly Oil Works was in Pittsburgh, Pa. I'm from that area & Waverly stuff is still hard to find. The oil can logo in photo is known for the WOW emblem. I passed on a W-O-W one piece globe many years ago, being told that it was from Western Oil Works. Only later did I learn of my mistake.
typical oil can from 1950's Waverly Oil Works
