hi , I have a chance at an early ford dealer sign. it is the ford crest or emblem used on cars. it is plastic, gold border, about 30 inches x 29 inches. says ford on top, with the blue red backround , modeled after the emlem ford cars had --I think in the 1950,s. very good cond. and very real. any idea on the value? a rare sign!

cannot get pics, its some guy selling it on CL.its the 1950,s crest red white and blue in 3 sections.the word ford is on top . it has like a cat in each colored section. has a gold border. there is an aluminum version of the same sign. he is asking 500 for it. an aluminum one sold for like 1600 on an auction site and they claim one of the plastic ones sold for 2600 on ebay last year. I googled ford crest dealer sign and found what I said. I know pics would be good but can,t get one.

Without images of the actual item... No one can give you a value...

Would you give a value on a House that you have/had never seen? The answer of course is no... Without seeing the location of the House, condition of it, what kind of Neighborhood is it in?... etc... It would be impossible to give a value...

It is the same for the sign you are asking about... Those in the know, need to see the condition of the sign (both sides) at the very least... And even then they may not have enough input to give a value...

If color is all good, no chips or cracks, well worth the 500
