I brought this sheet metal from an auction this week. I also got a complete pump 2 weeks ago same model at Carlisle. It also came with a new in the box hose. Would it be ok to find a base then fab up a frame from angle iron using the complete pump as a guide and construct a pump from these parts. Finding a frame and base would be best any thoughts or ideas? I do not have a meter but a friend has one.

I would look for another pump that has rusted out skins and use the ones that you have to replace them..You are missing a lot of parts, other than the base and frame to try and piece it together. You would also need a light and sight glass manifold, conduit and jct box, start handle mech, retractor guide and weight, computer....ect.. Much easier just to find a beater pump.

I have a skeleton to this pump that I would let you have cheap if you want to come to my place to pick it up. I live just south of Hagerstown Md. right off I-81 on the WV-Va line. Brady

Follow up with 1PetroFan.

That is a common pump and easy to find a frame not worth the effort of mickey mousing a frame.

Even though I can build an old car out of a grease stain, I will gladly use Bradie's skeleton for this project. I will PM you.

I also have a parts pump that would work and headed threw PA. this weekend. Really I took the parts off the first pictured with no site glass mechanism and put them on the one with a site glass and made up a good Chevron pump and have it sold to a friend up north. So the other is available. I pm ed you.

I want to thank Brady. He is a great guy. I married the pieces and now have a complete pump. And what a temple of gas and oil he has!
