I sent 3 messages to this seller "threehotsistersvintage" concerning the ENARCO sign as being a reproduction. The seller is just down the road from me about 25 miles. I received no answers. They did post a pic of the ENARCO's backside, per my request, near auction's end and after a bid of $132. I see in their feedback that they have sold about 17 repo signs for hundreds of dollars each, which I believe to be $25 repos. What do you think?
I really hate to see this happening.

My opinion is they know what their selling and really don't care that they are repops.

maybe those buyers don't know where you can buy them for $20.00 each ? Besides they are aged and look pretty good if your a decorator,,, a couple of hundred bucks isn't all that much today in 2015.. One of them bought several of them so I don't think the buyers are short of money,, just short on education..LOL, LOL... if the buyer is happy and the seller is happy, why should anyone else care.. It's not like they bought a reproduction sign for thousands of dollars.. Besides your NEVER going to stop it..

No disrespect to you Rod, but they are likely saying ...

""""And who the heck is this guy and what does he know ?""""

Probably so, Wes. However I sent them a link to the same ENARCO sign Gas Pump Heaven has for sale just in case they didn't believe me.

Their feed back gags me and anyone else that is an upfront and honest seller. Total up their return on their approximate $300 investmen. Although hammer, salt and water are not included.
I think some of us have forgotten that we were all newbies to the hobby at one time.

Apparently being "hot" has fried their brains and moral compass.
