Bought the Hudson clip today and had the Firestone clip. Anyone know what these were used for and how or what they hung?  [This message has been edited by the poor mans museum (edited 01-30-2005).]

I will vote for coat hanging hooks that go on the window. I have had a few and that is what I have always thought they were. I would ebay the Hudson one. There are a lot of Hudson buyers and that is an unusual item.

I bought it as a trading piece. Actually put it down and walked away and then went back for it because it was Hudson.
Maybe Doc will trade me one of those expensive oil cans that he STOLE FROM ME for it????

These are coat hangers. Lower the side window of the car, hook the hanger over the window and raise the window back up. The adv. can be seen from the outside. I have some plastic ones from Chevrolet dealerships.
I see the name on yours would be seen fron inside the car.
