While you're on the subject of Tok 39's how do you get the spinner glass loose w/o breaking it? Also on a Wayne clock face what is the best way to get the visi-gauge assy. apart without breaking??

Well, on my 39, the glass is just held in with 8 or 9 large flat head screws and a retainer ring. I must be living right cause all of mine came out with very little monkeying the other day. I've heard horror stories of having to drill and retap all the screw holes from badly corroded screws but mine were all just fine. Just be careful when you remove the last screw so the glass doesn't come tumbling out.

On the 39,
I have always used the butt end of a hammer handle at 12, 3, 6, 9:00 on the end of the glass to get it loose from the gasket. Some won't survive.

What kind of Wayne clockface?????
If it is the cylinder type, PATIENCE and something to dig the glue out with.....LOTS OF PATIENCE !!!!!!Start on the cylinder 1 month before the pump.

Put the whole Visi unit in a bucket of Brake cleaner/fluid for approx. a week.

On my 39 after I undid all the mounting screws and removed the retaining ring. I tried to pry a putty knife into the gasket area but that actually put a very small chip into the glass. I then held it in one hand firmly and smacked around the glass with a rubber dead blow hammer and it popped right off, no damage.

Mr. Midway,
I posted a question a couple of days ago asking info about the Midway Oil Co., Do you know anything about it with your name being as it is?
