I've been working on this 966 and I can't seem to figure out how the light fixture should be pointing. The conduit with the 90 degree bend came with the pump when I acquired it. If I point it down as it was when I disassembled it there is no room for a 'standard' light bulb and it would hang down into the porcelain face plate area. If I point it up it conflicts with the top of the pump. Did these pumps use a special light bulb, and/or can someone point me to the direction the fixture should be pointing. Thanks

Ed,
The 90 degree elbow should be at about a 45 degree angle (if that makes sense). I went out to my garage and took these pictures for you. Hope this helps.

Thanks Steve, That's perfect. Those 966's are cool.

I have most of the inside of my Bennett restored and need to get to work on the sides and doors. I'm looking to make mine visually working. I have it mostly figured out. I'll post some pic's soon. Ed
