My 615 skin was rusted/missing the the area where the pump handle can be locked. I have put a patch in but need to know where to cut the slot. Could someone please tell me, from the top edge of the skin what is the dimension to the top of the locking piece? I need to weld a new one in.

Thanks.

Mine measures 33 1/8" to the center of the slot from the top of the skin - but before I would cut it, I think a better idea would be to put the skin and pump handle on the pump and cut the slot just below the tab on the handle. This way you are sure that it is in the right place and everything lines up.

I checked my Wayne and its 33 1/8 as well. It has a slightly larger slot in the skin, I'm guessing so the locking piece could be aligned with the handle before welding in place.
