Please post photos of old gas stations, garages and car dealerships you've seen in your travels.
This is the Texaco station on Main Street in DeSoto, MO. Restored by the Mahn Funeral Home next door to it.

Old Re-Furbished Standard? Station I found in Albion Michigan.Could not resist going back and taking as few shots with the car. Wish I could transport it right to my property. The neighbor next door to it said a guy's Father owned and operated back in the day and the family grew up in the big house behind it ,but they sold that house & kept the station and moved to a farm.It is all original inside even down to wainscoating backed wood product display shelfs that are built in ,lighting Globes ,wainscoating celing. The sign pole is still there but no sign.Restored to original but not overdone.
Wanted TEXACO related items & SUNOCO related items .Signs -Globes et'c. Oil Cans - Grease cans .

The Albion, MI station was a Shell station at one time. There was a Inter Urban car that sat next to it that was made into a diner / tavern. Do a search of Albion & the Purple gang for even more history of the location.

The circle in the top of the station was a neon clock. I always looked at it when we drove by as a kid.
