What are these restroom signs?

What are these double sided porcelain flange restroom signs? Were they used on filling stations or some other application? They are roughly 15" X 3-1/2". Sorry for the ***** pictures.

The green and white are Texaco restroom signs, probably screwed to the doors.The blue and white ones are from Seaside, so yes filling station signs.

Didn't realize they were Seaside I have a set thought they were Standard....learn something every day.

the blue and white are from Humble Stations. I have taken many off the stations over the years.
