Making a project here that needs some small tiny metal ball bearings.
I tried a BB,but the smallest caliber they make is .177..that's roughly 4mm,and way too big.
I need about half that size,so a 2mm size.
I tried hdwe. stores & hobby shops, but to no avail. and anything close there was plastic.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Rick I have seen this in some safety triangle kits that are used in the trucking industry . The ones that when a rig breaks down they are unfolded into the triangle shape and placed on the shoulder of road to reflect and warn on comers . They have small steel shot in the plastic bases , much like the size of shot in a shot gun shell . I have had to replace the broken ones and wow what a mess . You might be able to just purchase a box of shot gun shell also . Seems they are getting away from lead now , I bet some shells would have good round steel shot also . Just a thought . Good luck.

I like SINCLAIR and old American made stuff ... No china items.

Good suggestions I'll look into,thanks.
My initial thought was finding one of those old childhood toy hand held games where we had to get the small metal balls into the tiny holes.Usually found in a box of Cracker Jack.

Was going to ask Hillsideshortleg to sell me a box of 1966 Cracker Jack.
