Does anyone know where to get dial emblems for the small totalizer wheels on a veeder root computer? Also I thought I saw a reference once to someone who had decals to replace the lettering on the aluminum price setting variator housing. I tried a search but couldn't find anything.
The computer is out of a Bennett 966, not sure if it's a 45 or 49 as I'm pretty new at this. Thanks

I do have a set of these, but they don't include the very small totalizer numbers, or am I using the wrong terminology? The dials I'm asking about are the ones that are hidden behind the movable plate that shows the total gallons pumped.

I don't know of anyone that makes emblems for the small numbers. Usually there is a stainless steel strip that covers them up. The station attendant pulled it down at the end of the day to record how many gallons of gas they sold. Richard

No one that I know makes these. Never been much call for these. Why not try a local sign shop? Maybe they can help? Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I'll look for another source or solution for the totalizer wheels.
What about the instruction decals for the variator? I thought I saw a reference once for that but I can't find the reference.

Here's the thing, the computers are enclosed when the pump is being displayed. I have restored hundreds of pumps and never had one client want either the totalizer numbers re-done or have the decal applied to the computer? My point is that there is no call for these things and no-one will make these to have them sit on a shelf and turn yellow. Good luck with your search as it will be difficult. Just to be clear, the computer you pictured with the arrow pointing to the totalizer numbers is not the right computer for the Bennett 966, everything is different including the totalizers. If you need a new totalizer send me a PM. Tom.

Tom, I just pulled up a quick pic to show what numbers I was looking for, it wasn't the computer for the Bennett. I got the bell you sent. It took me a minute to understand how it fit, but it works fine, thanks
I get that these numbers don't show, but it's my first pump so I was looking to re-do everything. I recently acquired a Tokheim 40 farm pump and it has the small totalizer number wheels also that do show, so finding these would help with both.
If they're not reproduced which it sounds like they're not then I'll look for another solution, maybe inkjet water slide decals, printable vinyl or something similar.

The only way to get wheels for the Totalizers is to reclaim them. Or NOS like Tom suggests. The new plastic wheels will replace the metal ones in front type Totalizers. If they are clean, it is best to spray them with clear coat or the numbers can wipe off due to age, BEFORE you try to take them out!!
There is only one type of side totalizer that those wheels will work correct in. It has a circular hole in it to avoid the gear shaft.
All other (earlier) side Totalizers had the trip in another place on the side of the wheel. Other V-R Totalizer counters may not have the same wheels as a computer.
If your computer has 1 flat bar to hold the face on the opposite side of the Totalizer it is a #49. If it has two L shaped face brackets opposite the Totalizer side and has a 4" band around the Variator it is a #45
