hi everyone and merry christmas. i am new to this site and am thinking about dabbling in some old porcelain signs. helping a auction buddy of mine with an estate and this guy has a MASSIVE amount of petroliana. in particular are a couple signs i have interest in, a sky chief marine, dated 3-12-55 and a diesel chief L dated 3-10-62. i hear there are a lot of fakes. these look real to me. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The MARINE looks odd to me....I think it's the size of the sign. Can you please give the dimensions ?

Looks like the Marine is a 8x15 by the looks of the grommets. Looks real from what I can see...In that size is very rare.

At the top of your page under "my stuff" is a flashing red envelope...that is a private message. Click on that envelope to read your message...mine is NOT a offer to buy.
