Last year at the age of 16 I got a call from a guy wanting to sell a pump and a can. I asked how much he wanted and he told me 100 dollars for the pump. 100 dollars for any pump is hard to come by so I told him I'm interested and to send me a pic. I get a picture of a 36b and my heart started beating like crazy. I thought it was a prank. Told him I would be there the next morning before he went off to work at 7am. And I ended up getting this rare moco motor oil can thrown in the deal. I felt so bad I through in a few extra hundred. The guy knew the pump model and info on it. I guess he just really wanted it gone. One of my best scores for sure

That first Pump or first globe is always special since you are not fully informed typically of real time values most of the time.
I purchased my first globe with no idea of its value or rarity.Lady luck sure is good to us when we least expect it.
Congratulations on your pump and can . It will be hard to duplicate that scenario again.

You should have bought a lotto ticket right after you picked up the pump & rocker.

Sweet deal. I can only image what I would have today, if I started collecting at 17.

Be careful, they are additive.

Enjoy

Jeff
