I am seeking input on to what a fair price for this globe would be. i am no expert by any means. Another member is interested in it and I need help. It's marked Hull and 3/41. It looks very near mint to me for being 75 years old, but refer back to the "I'm no expert" reference. That mark to the left of the T in the first photo is the camera, it isn't on the globe. Thanks, Dave

If you look at the last Morphy auction. Black T Globes went from $475-$600 plus the buyers premium or as high as $732. That range covers basic milk glass globes to ones with the copper bases. I don't think any of these were marked as "Hull". There was a Black T that was dated 1937 that sold for $550.

Copper screw base on a hull body and lenses in 9+ condition---I have seen this combination bring as much as $1200 when someone wants the very best, and this globe appears to be that caliber!

Like the old saying--" High quality oats are a pricey commodity, but if you're willing to accept some that have already been thru the horse--well, those will be somewhat cheaper"!

Thanks for all the input. The other member decided it wasn't the globe for him. I'll decide what to do when I get home in a few weeks.

Kevin and Randy are correct. I sell these in the $750-$850 range in that condition nice globe! As we know some items fall through the cracks and go less and some people will pay a crazy price but those are anomalies. Scott B.

Because it is for sale. I've told the people that have PM'd me that I'm away from home for a few weeks and I won't be able to send any more pictures or details until I get back. Dave

The consensus is $800 at least and that is what I would need out of it.
