1960's Grumman neon aerospace sign from NASA related R&D facility.

The length is around 6ft long when spaced out.

This sign came from one of the original Grumman facilities which worked on the NASA Apollo spacecraft or on the Tomcat F-14. Each piece has neon inside the back (some complete some broken) which back-lit the sign at night when on the building.

FYI, the sign was used by Grumman Technical Services in Titusville Fl from 1960's-70's, so it was just across from the Cape. These were the guys who did final assembly, troubleshooting in assembly, pre-launch, mission-time.

Looks like you must have passed right thru my back yard as I live about 2 miles from there. Good to see it survived the scrap heap. That building closed years ago and is now a Hospice of St Francis.

Someone salvaged it for sure though it must have been over 30 years ago when everything went Northrup Grumman.
