I know this forum loves pictures but I do not have one. I can purchase a vertical painted metal with a metal backing frame similar to the wood frames. it is about 5 foot tall and 12 to 15 inches wide. does anyone know of the date of this sign and a range of values? thanks. I did a lot of internet research but cannot find anything about this particular sign.

Painted tire signs are about 30-50% less than porcelain. Generally speaking without a picture I'd suggest looking at the range of painted vertical tire signs and coming up with a low/high range given similar condition. If it's later years it might be worth as little as a few hundred and early might be double that. The big dollar painted signs are flashy and/or have something that attracts attention to them, brand, etc.
