At Dixie this year, I seen two nice 42" or so orange and black shield signs. One was dated on the bottom the other one had no date marking. Is that common? Does it affect the value any if both are real?

Hard to say without comparing the two but I don't think anyone has made repops in the 42" DSP signs. Many oil companies used more than one manufacturer and that could be the only difference in the two. IMO Makers mark / dates usually have no value difference on real signs but that may change as more repops come along. Plus some of the repops are being done with old dates so that just adds to the sickening flavor.

Thanks
Mike

Phillips would have to be 29" or 48".

Thanks, it got to the point where it is tough to buy anything because the fake are everywhere and so hard to spot on the unfamiliar stuff.
