Hello Everybody,

Got a pump here I need help to id. The only hints I can give to ID it is the following:

1) All bolts are metric
2) Has two glass cylinders that would measure 3.5in X 16in long and another two ontop of that seperated by a cast iror piece that measure 3.5in X 3in long.
3) There are 3 intials on the pump mech and the top casting of the visiguage...will post that later this evening.
4) The pump is 8 sided

Please note that the visiguage is not attached...it is just hanging and can barely see part of it on the left side of pic.

That is all the info I can give at this time.

Thanks in advance!!

Easy G. Butler

Hello Again,

Here is the 3 initials that are on the pump mechanism and sight glass.

C P D

I have no idea what this is...the tag is long gone can see the holes where it once was but that is it.

Thanks for the help.

Jack, I have a book, Behind The Wheel-The magic and Manners of Early Motoring by Lord Montaguof Beaulieu and F. Wilson McCombPub. by Paddington Press L T D / Grosset & Dunlap 1977.
Page 99, there are two similar dispensers selling Pratts brand of fuel. Unfortunately they only show the picture and they don't go into any detail as to what year the pump was built. I also saw a book that was published by an Italian publisher back in 1993 that did show European manufacturers as well as a lot of Bennett dispensers that were converted to manual operation . I didn't purchase that book as It was 65.00 then. I also saw the book being available through Time Passages. However, I'll have nothing to do ever again with Scott Anderson or his company . I tried to E-mail you personally as to my dealing s with him but on two occasions the mail got kicked back . I'll be more than happy to tell you why if you either give me a decent E-mail or a phone .
