Here is a Vendolator 33 I bought today. With the key,it cools and the only thing missing is the cash box. So what site is the authority on these?

Larry, take the "light refreshmen sign" off and see if it is embossed "Pepsi-Cola" machine.

Not from what I read on the net. There is no chance it is embossed under the Light Refreshment. Besides its riveted. They did in fact build them without embossing and sold to whomever. Kind of like gas pumps

Pretty good chance it IS embossed under it.. besides that current metal plate is plain ugly looking...
if your not restoring it, then sure leave it as not to mess up the rivets, but if restoring it ? go for it.

I bought a V 39 that was stolen by PEPSI back before Coke removed the large drums inside that would hold a large PEPSI bottle . They painted it their colors and they riveted the sign over it . Mine had a piece of metal and a sign riveted as you can see and had Coca Cola embossed underneath . No doubt this one was taken for a repaint because the blue was inside and out in every crack . I wish the blue came off easier but it was stuck to the red very good . The 33 you have may have something different underneath .

Check your ID Tag to see if the model is 33-3D. If so, it probably has embossed single dot Pepsi logo... During revitalization campaigns, these machines where repainted and modified to current themes to keep them in service into the next generation.

I see nothing ugly about it. But thanks! The light Refreshment dictates its 54-58
