I took this off an Eco reel hose unit and wonder if it is for credit card machine or a cash box, it also had a sliding tin piece with it as shone in two of the pictures...anybody know? I put an air globe on the reel instead.....Tom

I have the same Eco Islander which is complete - and is restored.

That is the Islander with the cash box option.

You have the bottom half of the cash box-the top half is
missing-which was like a cash drawer with a cover

There is a picture on these two pages of my website:

Three different cash boxes are shown in my Air Meter Identification book.

ECO probably sold very few of these Islanders with the cash box on them. In almost 30 years of messing with ECOs, I have only owned one, and have heard of one other, your's makes it three. If your's is complete, it is probably worth 2-3 times what the "Air-Water" sign you put on your unit.

I don`t check my own posts enough....Jack I certainly would take a nice Air-Water porcelain sign that goes on a islander....or maybe, maybe trade out some parts from someone that needs the unit, someone kinda like you......Tom
