Hi guys, Is there a trick to remove the ad glasses on a Tokheim 36B?

I removed the retaining clips and figured there would be enough room to lift and slide the ad glasses out.
But there's not.

Looking at it closely it looks like the bottom piece of the ad glass frame might come off once the top is removed but it's hard to see due to several layers of paint.

Before I remove the top I want to make sure the bottom frame piece that hold in the ad glass can be removed once the top is off.

Thanks in advance,
Tino

Yes the bottom rail is removable, 1 flathead screw at each end of the rail, on the bottom after you remove the top and turn it over.

yes the bottom rail comes off. Unfortunately, I have already misplaced one. Let me know if anyone has an extra to sell.
