OP NationsAttic Active Member Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 79 Wichita, KS	I'm thinking about purchasing this great looking sign from an individual who says they have had it since 1980.Been burned on a few signs that were reproductions in the past, so I thought it was best to check with some more knowledgeable people here. The sign is 42" double sided. Looks like two mounting holes on top. I'm in Wichita and would like to add this one to the collection. Thank you everyone for the help. Don

IMO, Computer generated graphics, colors are off, shelving looks wrong.... but that's without holding it so who knows anymore. I'm sure not a expert but it looks to be a early repop. I don't remember all the vehicles/boats/motorcycles on original 42" either. Thanks Mike Always Looking for any Pure Oil and Sunoco Items.

I have a feeling he already knew it was fake - so watch out for this sign coming up for sale in the Midwest with a good back story!
