Have only seen a couple of these ever come up for sale and have an opportunity to acquire one soon. Anyone know when/where/how these pennant/shield signs were used by GM? Its not the regular color scheme that GM uses stateside, so I am guessing it might be an overseas GM division. Could be wrong, but wanted to ask the OG experts. Any info is greatly appreciated. grin

GM sign of question

Thanks,
-Paul

Canada used some types of that design of metal with some of GM's signs. Maybe some of the Canadian guys might have some info on this.

Craig,

Was thinking it could be CDN too, but couldn't remember when they started using the maple leaf design in the background of their logo.

Not a Canadian sign that I'm familiar with or have ever seen. Ours carried the Maple Leaf through this time period. Your sign in question I'm thinking is European. Morphy's sold some last April that were similar.
